Legacy & Business Growth – From Humble Beginnings to Industry Leadership
Founded in 1963 by Mr. Lee Shou Cheong in Kuantan, FLS started as a tombstone engraving business. Through a unique opportunity, Mr. Lee assisted in setting up Feng Shui cemeteries, laying the foundation for the company's expansion into the bereavement sector.
Despite industry challenges, including financing difficulties and a devastating 2009 fire, FLS persevered, responding swiftly to crises and ensuring funeral services continued uninterrupted. This resilience paved the way for the company’s modernization, solidifying its leadership in the East Coast’s bereavement industry.
THREE CELESTIAL STARS
The design inspiration for the "Fú Lù Shòu" emblem comes from the traditional Chinese cultural pursuit of happiness, wealth, and longevity. "Fú" symbolizes blessings and rest for the deceased, "Lù" represents the wealth and achievements accumulated throughout their life, while "Shòu" signifies their eternal longevity in the afterlife.
This emblem not only expresses respect and remembrance for the deceased but also embodies comfort and encouragement for the living. It conveys beautiful wishes for those who have passed while providing emotional solace and inner peace to those who remain.
